The Joys of Off-Grid Living in an RV Equipped with Solar Power

Owning and travelling around in an RV with Solar Power gives people a lot of freedom of where they can choose to stop to sleep and for how long they want to stay in each destination. Such people can choose to vacation or tour over a period of weeks or longer in an RV without having to commit to a hotel, motel, RV park, unless they wanted to.  

That is part-time off-grid living.

Some people travel extensively with their children and/or their pets as there is plenty of room in the RV. 

Some might decide to sell their house or downsize. The new place then serves as a home base to return to when they are not travelling. The plan was then to travel extensively around their state or throughout the country, as well as visiting other nearby countries.

You might ask an RVer where the plan was to travel to next. The reply might include a plan to stop for a few days in different areas. About returning, who knows when?  The benefit of a solar power installation in their RV, a renewable source for electrical energy, provides travel freedom.

Then again, some prefer to live off-grid permanently, when retired or while working as digital nomads. Solar power can help facilitate such lifestyles. Off-grid living is freedom indeed.
